Every firm on the Directorate General of Maritime Administration's current list of registered Multimodal Transport Operators. Search by name, or narrow by state and city.
Under the Multimodal Transportation of Goods Act, 1993, a firm must register with the Directorate General of Maritime Administration (formerly DG Shipping) before it can issue its own multimodal transport document, the bill of lading used when goods move by more than one mode.
Most locations are the registered office shown in the list of valid MTOs published by DG Shipping (now DGMA) as on 1 August 2024. For other firms, the location comes from the firm's own website or was added by our team. Firms with no known location show “Location not listed”.
Registrations are renewed periodically. Confirm a firm's registration number on the DGMA list of registered MTOs before you hand over cargo, and ask for the registration number on the bill of lading.
Send us the correct city, website or contact details and we'll update it after checking your registration.
