Where the rates come from
- Tariff rate and description for every 8-digit line: CBIC's I4C tariff service on ICEGATE.
- Effective BCD: notification 45/2025-Customs (in force since 1 November 2025) with amendments up to 31/2026-Customs, plus standalone notifications such as 46/2025 and 19/2026.
- IGST: notification 9/2025-Integrated Tax (Rate) and the nil-rate list in 10/2025-Integrated Tax (Rate), as amended. Where the GST schedule splits a tariff line by description, you choose the matching entry.
What this estimate leaves out
- Anti-dumping, countervailing and safeguard duties, which apply to specific countries and exporters. Check DGTR findings for your product.
- FTA preferential rates, which need a certificate of origin. Shown as a flag, not in the total.
- Some other exemption notifications for specific users or end uses, such as 24/2005 and 57/2017. Ask us if one may apply to you.
- Customs assesses the final duty on the Bill of Entry. Use this for planning and costing.
